Who you will help 

Yehud, located on the periphery of Tel Aviv, is currently in socioeconomic distress in which many parents struggle to provide for their children. This results in a wide educational gap within the community where kids struggle with alarming high-school drop out rates. Youth in these impoverished areas have vast learning and behavioural challenges, compounded by social marginalisation, domestic circumstances, and a lack of exposure of Hebrew for new immigrant families. These children are in need of recreational as well as educational and therapeutic programming. This centre currently lacks high quality facilities necessary to provide meaningful indoor and outdoor opportunities for the participating children.

Your donation will fund

Serving as an extension to the children's school day, the after-school enrichment centres are open every weekday afternoon during the school year from 1-6pm as well as the mornings during breaks and summer vacation. Here the children will participate in recreational programming specifically crafted to build the strengths they need as they grow. This creative and active stimulation is needed to develop the non academic areas of their lives.
